Description

The Pax Cruiser is the main Selaren ship and is built around their unique capabilities. It cannot easily be flown by someone of another species and certainly not by people without acal powers.

Its sensors, active defenses and weapon systems are all centered on acal abilities. The ship increases in offensive capabilities in direct proportion to the acal powers of those aboard.

The ships sensors use the crews Sense Surroundings power to give them incredible sensor capabilities, surpassing any technical sensors by a huge margin and is at best able to detect any life anywhere in a solar system with no possibility of hiding.

Pas is usually fitted with 2 Teardrop class shuttles for solar system sorties.

This weapon is called Acal Force Focuser and it has no capabilities on its own but rather it allows Acal Masters (Selaren in particular) to use their own Form Energy and Focus Energy powers against other ships.

The weapon can fire in two modes, either as a beam weapon when using focus energy or as a missile weapon when using form energy. This is shown as two separate weapons here.

The acal master who is firing the weapon can use either ability and must succeed an average check of the skill in order to fire (if skill is above 100% no check is necessary). If skill check success is above challenging (-50%) the GM may award additional damage to the attack.

Each attack expends 2 EP.

A single Selaren gunner can simultaneously fire multiple weapons using the same configuration at a single target (or multiple targets based on success at the GM discretion).
